"Since they evolved trees have had a great influence on the shaping of the ecology of our planet and in determining the present arrangements of life on earth. Of particular importance for us has been the role of trees in the evolution of mankind and the development of human cultures and communities ";Brian Clifford (March 1999)
Which trees are special in your country?
What do they symbolyze in your religion?
Which artist in your country draw pictures of trees?
Our hearts go out to the people of Israel in the shocking loss of life this disastrous
Carmel forest fire has brought to both them and their countryside and in particular
the people of Haifa and the relatives of those who have lost their lives
Living as I do in the London capital of the UK, to be able to both see and visit
areas of woodlands and trees and enjoy them in all seasons I can appreciate
that added to the shocking loss of life, how the loss of the beauty of such vast areas
of trees will impact on the nation.
Maybe when the time is right an International appeal via the Worlds Largest International
Seed Depository (Wakeham Place) Surrey England could help in supporting the replanting
of this lost area of Israels natural beauty. With the replanted areas of it named after
the supporting countries.
Good luck in your battle.

Strive For Trees ! Yesterday there were so many trees But today there are hardly any are left. Walking on the road has become complex As cutting of trees has become the simplest. Cutting trees has made us busy, Deforestation is now so easy. Without asking for anything, Trees just give us everything. They provide us in every way Making life better for us to stay But, are we being very wise By not giving them their price? They bring the rain every year; They give us water and a life without fear. Their strong roots firmly hold the soil, And lovely leaves spread greenery every mile. Without trees we would live in a desert; Life would be full of complications and hazards. So strive for trees, friends, strive for trees As a life without them is not full of glee! Spreeha Dutta Class- VII, B,Smt Sulochanadevi Singhania School.

I'm very sorry for the fire in Israel.Nowadays peoople can't see the importance of nature:without it we can't live! It would be beautiful if everybody take care of even a little tree. Above I've put on some photos with trees.Maybe in this way we can save our polluted planet... I hope you'll make it...I wish you a lot of luck!

I would like to show my regret about the huge fire in your country by uploading a poster with trees and woods. I am very sorry about the large area of woods which has been destroyed, and also for the people who have lost their lives this way. Let's take this caseas an example for us: we must take care of everything around us, and this way, we can create a better world, with a less polluted environment, and more peopleinvolved in rescuing it. Together we can make it happen!

I want you to know that I am very sorry about what happened in your country.
I read on the Internet about the fire and about the people who lost their lives.
It is a shame that many people in the world don't care about the environment and
don't try to protect it. Personally, I think nature makes you more opimistic and it
also makes you realise that life is beautiful. I made a collage which shows my
love for nature.
You have my support!

I'm verry sorry for the loss of human lives as well as for the woods.Nature is very
important in everyone's life and is necessary for us to protect it.Woods are a
source of health and beauty and we should be involved in protecting them
from pollution. It's hard, but not impossible,to recreate what has been destroyed.
We are all with you,and we support you with our hearts an will.
Good luck!
